AAA Cards Challenge #266: Sketch

 This challenge at AAA Cards Challenge called for a large, unicolor stamp or a stencil with larger shapes. I. Have. Neither. So I created my own stencil, using a die and broad low tech tape!


I used the plain leaf from the Altenew Mix Leaf Die Set and used it as my "stencil" shape.

The sentiment is Frisian, it means both "a flower" and "a bouquet". I stamped it sideways to make it look like a flower stem.

 Mijn lieve schoonvader is maandag jarig en hij wordt alweer 63 jaar! AAA Cards Challenge #270: Sketch

 Hi everyone! I got a new set with stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn!!! AND I AM SO EXCITED! It's called "Toucan do it" and it features a lot of amazing animals and funny sentiments. I got them at Hobby Resort .  With the sketch challenge I used my new set of stamps and dies (duh) and Distress Ink.  I made this card for my brother, who was almost graduating college (or for our Dutchies: HBO). AAA Cards Challenge #260: Sketch

 I really like to make masculine cards, because I discovered a big secret a few years ago: men love handmade cards. It's not even about the general look of a card, they simply really appreciate the effort. In my experience, even generally grumpy men will enjoy receiving a handmade card. For this AAA Cards Challenge I decided to make a masculine card with our sketch. As you can see, I "mirrored" the sketch to make this card. I used stamps of "old" cars and heat embossed those with WOW embossing powder and VersaMark ink.  Do you make masculine cards often? Liefs, Marlies
