 Hi everyone, This challenge at AAA Cards Challenge Blog is right up my alley. As a kidney transplant patient (recipient) I know how much of a difference a card can make when you're not well. Fortunately, the kidney I received from my dad is going strong for ten years now! So I haven't been ill much the past ten years.  The stamp I used is from Lawn Fawn. It doesn't show on the picture, but when you open the card, the elephant's butt hangs on the inside! Will you join our challenge too? Liefs, Marlies

 Yay! Another sketch challenge at AAA Cards Challenge Blog ! I didn't really feel like creating my own wreath from scratch, so I decided to go the lazy way. The best thing about this clever design, if I do say so myself, is that I didn't have to colour the entire stamp, just the edges. I used alcohol markers and it was a lot of fun! The stamp is in Dutch and it means: "is it your birthday again?". The stamps I used:  Clear stamps Party buttons - Essentials nr. 563.  Do you have a valentine? I do: my dear husband. Every year we agree that we will not give each other presents for Valentine's Day, but guess what... EVERY YEAR, he gets me fancy chocolates! I love him so much. For this challenge you can make any card, as long as it's CAS (Clean And Simple). The optional twist is "Love is in the air" and I decided to go with that.  For Challenge #252 at AAA Cards Challenge Blog we had a fun colour scheme to work with!  The colour scheme has blues and purples. I decided to go with the blues. Voor de Liftchallenge #182 van de Lift Challenge Blog maakte ik deze ontzettend leuke kerstkaart. Ik ben al aan het aftellen tot kerst, maar of ik al voldoende kerstkaartjes heb... Ik verstuur vaak tussen de 70 en de 80 kerstkaarten. Hoeveel kerstkaarten verstuur jij per jaar? Liefs,  Marlies

Het is altijd leuk en bijzonder als mensen gaan samenwonen of verhuizen. Wat wens je mensen dan? Veel succes? Ouch... Nee! Ik wens mensen vrijwel altijd VEEL GELUK.  Super leuk, voor Challenge #183 van KIC is het thema "Trouwkaart". Nu heb ik een hele leuke Fryske stempelset die ik uitstekend kon gebruiken voor dit project.  Nu alleen nog wachten tot er iemand gaat trouwen... Hopelijk houdt het bruidspaar van paars!  Liefs, Marlies

  For the AAA Birthday Blog I made a lovely CAS card today. Excuse the language, it's Dutch! The challenges for this forthnight is: layers. As you can see, the small black sentiment pops up nicely, getting the attention it deservers. The sentiments on this card translate to: ENJOY this day  (I know, we need A LOT of words in Dutch...). Voor de AAA Birthday Blog heb ik vandaag een mooie CAS kaart gemaakt.  De challenge was deze keer: laagjes. Op de Cheerful Sketches Challenge Blog hebben ze een ontzettende leuke sketch voor de maand april . Ik heb al voor wat een eeuwigheid lijkt, ontzettend leuke knipvellen van Marianne Design van zeemeerminnen. Dit was de perfecte sketch om er een paar kaarten mee te maken voor de jonge meiden in de familie. Jullie raden nooit wat de lievelingskleur van deze kleine ontvangster is... Mijn naam is Marlies Hansma en creativiteit is helemaal mijn ding. Ik ben 29 jaar, werk als notarieel medewerker en heb (te) veel creatieve hobby's.  In 2022 ben ik getrouwd met mijn grote liefde, Siemon. Samen met mijn man woon ik op het Friese platteland. Op het moment dat ik dit schrijf, ben ik zwanger van ons eerste kindje. Wij verwachten hem in juni. Spannend! Mijn hobby's zijn enorm verschillend. Al van jongs af aan mocht ik graag tekenen en schilderen. Van mijn Oma leerde ik haken, breien, quilten en naaien, eerst met de hand en later op de naaimachine. Tegenwoordig teken en schilder ik niet zo veel meer, al kan ik de teken-creativiteit goed kwijt in het kaarten maken. Verder maak ik graag sieraden, net als mijn moeder. Ook houd ik ontzettend van haken. Is er zoiets als "te veel garen"? Volgens mij niet! Tijdens de corona pandemie heb ik het kaarten maken ontdekt. Het duurde niet lang voordat ik volledig verslingerd was aan deze nieuwe hobby. "CAS" ka...
