Hey! Where I'm from, we don't actually celebrate Halloween. We do have a similar holiday though. In The Netherlands we celebrate Saint Martin on the 11th of November. On the evening of November 11th, children carry lanterns and go from door to door singing Saint Martin Songs in exchange for candy or fruit.  I can't wait till my son is old enough to go!   I did make this rather cute Halloween card for our challenge over at AAA Cards Challenge blog . Hey there, holiday hobbyist! This challenge I decided to make a sunny holidays card in the shape of... a postcard! To make the ink stick on the patterned paper that I turned into a "stamp", I used VersaMark, embossing powder and my heat gun. It's actually a bit shiny! Will you join our challenge at AAA Cards ?  Hi everyone! For this challenge I decided to go for a lovely girly card. Is it summer-ish? The most important thing is, it is CAS! Clean And Simple! The stamp with coordinating dies is from Studio Light, I think. I used distress ink (kitsch flamingo) for the background. The sentiment is from Marianne Design.  Hi everyone! This was a tough sketch challenge! As I mentioned before in my post of AAA Cards Challenge #266 I do not have a lot of stencils. And guess what... A stencil would have come in handy AGAIN this challenge! So what did I do? Did I buy a stencil. Nooooo. I got creative! I took some of my alcohol markers, looked for a color palette on pinterest and started doodling. The colours were way too dark, so I was about to throw out the card panel, until I turned it around. What you see on the card is actually THE BACK of my card panel. Oh well... I can't wait to see how you interpret the sketch!  Hi everyone!  Here I am -again- with a masculine card! But this time it was the optional twist, sooo.... I used low tech tape to shield the card, except the bottom part. I have a stamp set with cars and tools. I used one tool stamp to create the bottom pattern.  The circle stamp and matching dies are from Studio Light ( CCL-ES-CD731 and  CCL-ES-STAMP563). I placed the sentiment where it is, because that's where I smudged some ink with my fingers, ahem. What kind of CAS card will you make?  This challenge at AAA Cards Challenge called for a large, unicolor stamp or a stencil with larger shapes. I. Have. Neither. So I created my own stencil, using a die and broad low tech tape! I used the plain leaf from the Altenew Mix Leaf Die Set and used it as my "stencil" shape. The sentiment is Frisian, it means both "a flower" and "a bouquet". I stamped it sideways to make it look like a flower stem. Here you can see our sketch for this fortnight, how will you make this work? Let's see!  Liefs, Marlies

Hi everyone! I'm gonna be honest, this was a tough one. I simply had TOO MANY IDEAS. My best friend thinks I have ADHD or that I'm neurodivergent at least. I have no idea, but reels on instagram agree with her.  Anyways, back to my card!  This is my interpretation of today's sketch. I just bought the leaf mix die set from altenew. It was an absolute a*****e to find, but I managed to buy it from a webshop in Belgium: Card Nouveau . The sentiment is in Dutch and means: "I am thinking of you".  Mijn lieve schoonvader is maandag jarig en hij wordt alweer 63 jaar! Inmiddels is het een beetje traditie dat ik de verjaardagskaart bij het gezamenlijke cadeau maak bij mijn schoonfamilie en het wordt altijd zeer gewaardeerd, ook door de heren.  Do you have a valentine? I do: my dear husband. Every year we agree that we will not give each other presents for Valentine's Day, but guess what... EVERY YEAR, he gets me fancy chocolates!  Hi everyone! Black, white and gold are  - in my humble opinion - fancy colours to work with. So in stead of a Christmas card I went for a fancy card. As you can see, I did not add a sentiment. This way you can use the card for several occasions.   The black cardstock makes it not a "happy" card, so a birthday is out of the question. However, this card can be used as a sympathy card. Fall or autumn is my favorite season of all time! I love the changing colours, candles and Harry Potter marathons. I made a very simple "clean and simple" (CAS) card. There are no superstars on this card, but I love the vibe. I used the stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn.  Wij hebben lieve vrienden die een tweede kindje verwachten! Voor hen maakte ik deze kaart. Er loopt nog geen "pooltje" in onze vriendengroep, maar ik denk dat ze een meisje gaan krijgen. De oranje vlek is gemaakt met water en drie kleuren Distress Ink en het gouden deel is gemaakt met het stencil van Studio Light,  Mask stencil Arabesque arch - JMA Warm & cozy nr. 57 , en Lunar Paste van Simon Hurley.
