AAA Cards Challenge #259: Anything CAS goes/Birthday

Afbeelding
Happy Birthday!  For this challenge at AAA Cards Challenge Blog you can make and submit any CAS (Clean And Simple) card you want. If you need at least something  to go on, we've got your back: the optional twist for this challenge is "birthday". Because I do my best work under pressure, I am that person that needs something to go on, so I decided to make this CAS birthday card!  The stamp that I used is actually from Action! It came with a large birthday themed clear stamp set. I coloured the images with alcohol markers. Please join our challenge at AAA Cards Challenge blog and show us your CAS card! Liefs, Marlies

AAA Cards Challenge #258: Sketch

Yay! I really enjoy sketch challenges. Do you know why? I think it's amazing to see how many different ways there are to interpret a sketch. You'll see when you go over to our blog at AAA Cards Challenge that there aren't two identical cards! I used distress ink to make the partial background on the left side of the card. The colours I used are: kitsch flamingo, abandoned coral and spiced marmalade. The stamp set is from Lawn Fawn, which I love very much! I used coordinating dies to cut the images.  What is your take on our sketch? Join in! Liefs, Marlies

AAA Cards Challenge #257: Anything CAS goes/Love is in the air

Do you have a valentine? I do: my dear husband. Every year we agree that we will not give each other presents for Valentine's Day, but guess what... EVERY YEAR, he gets me fancy chocolates! I love him so much. For this challenge you can make any card, as long as it's CAS (Clean And Simple). The optional twist is "Love is in the air" and I decided to go with that. Join our AAA Cards Challenge and submit your wonderful CAS card!

AAA Cards Challenge #256: Sketch

Are you used to writing 2024 in stead of 2023 yet? I am absolutely not! Fortunately, this card did not need a date.  For the sketch challenge you can use any shape(s) in any colour(s), just keep it CAS. Since A LOT of my friends are currently pregnant, I decided to make a "Welcome Little One" card.  For the background I used Distress Ink on clear stamps and I coloured the image of the cute little bear with alcohol markers. In my opinion this card works for both baby boys and baby girls! What kind of card will you create with this sketch from AAA Cards Challenge blog ? Liefs, Marlies

AAA Cards Challenge #255: Sketch & "Cold"

Afbeelding
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I'm so glad you have found your way to my blog. I made a "cold" card for you this time. As you can see, I flipped the sketch! It just made more sense for my little critters to be at the bottom of the card.  I used a stamp set from Lawn Fawn. Man, I love those stamps. Unfortunately, they aren't cheap!  The little critters got their colour from alcohol markers and as always I used Versafine black ink for stamping. Will you join our challenge at AAA Cards Challenge blog ? Liefs, Marlies

AAA Cards Challenge #254: Black, White & Gold

Hi everyone! Black, white and gold are  - in my humble opinion - fancy colours to work with. So in stead of a Christmas card I went for a fancy card. As you can see, I did not add a sentiment. This way you can use the card for several occasions.   The black cardstock makes it not a "happy" card, so a birthday is out of the question. However, this card can be used as a sympathy card. What kind of card will you create for our challenge? Check out AAA Cards Challenge blog and join us! Liefs, Marlies

AAA Cards Challenge #253: Fall/Leaves

Fall or autumn is my favorite season of all time! I love the changing colours, candles and Harry Potter marathons. I made a very simple "clean and simple" (CAS) card. There are no superstars on this card, but I love the vibe. I used the stamps and dies from Lawn Fawn. I coloured the stamps with alcohol markers and added a tiny bit of "speckled egg" Distress Ink behind the scene. Join in and visit our challenge at the AAA Cards Challenge blog! What is your favourite season? Liefs, Marlies
